Last week I did an experiment with an egg. I dropped an egg from the second floor of the school
using a container to put the egg in so that it can absorb the shock. I made a box out of a bubble rap so that it can absorb the shock more than paper or a cloth. I tried to make the container light so that it won’t have speed while dropping the container. I wanted a sponge because it is light and has a big effect for absorbing the shock. However I didn’t have one so I used a special cotton which was kind of like an sponge. I put a plastic sheet for a parachute and a plastic bag. The plastic container with the egg inside went down and the egg fell out of the container when it reached the ground and it cracked! However, I noticed that there weren’t any liquid inside the container so the container actually absorbed all the shock. I wish I made a lid on top of the container.
